Use a Book

Weights are silly! Grab a text book. Keep your back against a wall for support. Keep your arm straight. Lift the book up and down - over your head and back down to your side. You can do this sideways. You can do this frontwards.

You can even do tricep extentions. Grab a book. Lift it over your head. Bend your elbow and touch the book to the middle of your back. Then straighten your elbow again.

You can do wrist stength exercises. Hold a book. Put your arms on a table with your wrist hanging off. Lift the book up and down to strengthen your wrists.

Handstand

Handstands are not just for gymnasts. Put your back against the wall. Put your hands on the floor. Walk your feet up the wall. A gymnast can hold a handstand for several minutes. See if you can hold one for thirty seconds. Do not arch your back. Try to keep a straight body. My uncle who was not a gymnast, did a handstand against the wall everyday. He lived to be exactly 100 years old. A handstand a day is the secret to old age. George Nissen - inventor of the trampoline - Still can do a handstand; he is in his over 90 years old!
